Abstract

ABSTRACT There is various factor which leads to road accident like harsh driving, drunk driving and technical fault etc. Due to increase in number of vehicles, accident is also increased. As we all know that life is very precious, so try to avoid this factor because it leads to accident. According to the World Health Organisation (W.H.O.), In India due to road accident 821 peoples die per day and 34 deaths every hour in India. The main aim of project is reducing the death caused due to delay in rescue operations. This project involved Components like Arduino UNO, Global Positioning System (GPS), Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM) and Accelerometer. Arduino is the microcontroller which controls all the process. GSM, GPS, Accelerometer and LCD are connected to Arduino through Bread board. Accelerometer is used to detect the sudden change in axis of vehicle, GPS is used to detect the location of accident and GSM is used to send the location of accident to the number entered before. Keywords: Arduino; GPS; GSM; Accelerometer Cite this Article: Hritik Yadav, Mani Varshney, Himanshu Gupta, Harish Chandra Pal.
