Abstract

The Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) system has been introduced in the power sector in order to automate the metering system and also to provide real time data with accuracy. In the sense, consider a person visiting each and every substation to collect the readings in a particular region or number of persons deployed to collect the readings in many substations in many regions. Both will be considered as a waste of man power.
