Abstract

ABSTRACT
The Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) had been used as a preferred technology for Wireless Communication System. A unique code is assign to each user. That why we required large no. orthogonal spreading codes in order to served large no. of user over a same bandwidth. This generated spreading codes must have low value of cross-correlation between them and mitigate the effect of Multiple User Interference (MUI). In this study, we have proposed a method to generate an “Minimum Cross-correlation Orthogonal Spreading Code” (MCCOSC), which provide a large number of distinct spreading codes as compared to the existing orthogonal and near orthogonal spreading codes, namely Walsh code, Orthogonal Gold code and Orthogonal Hadamard code. The study of characteristics of auto-correlation and cross-correlation of proposed code scheme proves its importance as compare to others code scheme.
