E-Learning Pathway to Smart Indian Education System

Abstract


Education is the basic key element for the development of society. Without education the society is just like a body without soul. Means the education plays such a role in human life that the humans are only animals without knowledge or education. Students in the ancient and mediaeval periods are taught in such a way that they will be able to survive in that era. The Indian education system has grown tremendously since independence, providing teaching and training in many areas, but it still does not meet the market's global need. In today era the education is changed to online mode and known as electronic learning or E-learning which is based on the technology and the way of learning new things also get changed and it completely turn to innovation learning or smart learning. The outbreak of pandemic COVID-19 has unbelievably affected each aspect of human life, as well as the education system. This situation has posed out of the ordinary challenges to numerous educational institutions around the world: universities have halted, teaching and learning has moved to the Internet. In India around 32 million students have stopped moving their schools/universities and all educational activities have ended. Despite various challenges, MHRD, UGC and Indian management agencies continue to be actively involved and attempt to ensure the continuity of education, research, management learning and use new modern technologies at the service of society. This article highlights the education system in India before COVID-19 and the influence of COVID-19 on the whole education system. Various steps or positive thoughts taken in the way of its amendment to protect the students, learners, researchers the policies and virtual platform provided by various MNCs and Government of India.
