An Octagonal Diamond Cut Shape Textile Antenna for S-Band Application

Anurag Saxena, Vinod Kumar Singh

Abstract

In this article, an Octagonal Diamond Cut shape textile antenna has been simulated for the frequency range 2 GHz to 8 GHz i.e. S-Band Applications under CST Software using twisting material i.e. Jeans. This twisting material is having dielectric constant of 1.7. For wearable the antenna Jeans substrate is used. The return loss of Octagonal Diamond Cut Shape antenna is -26 dB at 3.41 GHz resonant frequency. It covers the bandwidth from 2.72 GHz to 6.05 GHz which is approx. 76%. In this article simulated results like return loss Vs Frequency graph, 3-D pattern and polar plot are presented.
