Abstract


IOT (Internet of Things) is currently taking the market on a new level and knocking on doors with new prospects for inventions with every improvement in Internet speed and bandwidth. This study discusses an IOT-based surveillance and control system for energy-efficient electrical devices. Lighting appliances use a lot of energy, so finding ways to enhance efficiency and speed up defect detection is a difficult task. Depending on the type of application, two distinct model techniques are used in this paper. IEEE 802.11 wireless technology is employed in limited spaces or tiny spaces when all the appliances are linked to a single Wi-Fi network. Wired arrangement is utilized in the second type, which is similar to a street lamp pole where the number of appliances only increases in one direction.
