IoT Solutions for Water Quality Monitoring: A Review of Protocols and Communication Technologies

S. Mohanapriya, Priyanka Kumari

Abstract

Over the past few years, water pollution has become an increasingly serious issue. Water satisfaction may be one of the most important factors influencing health and the spread of diseases "among relatives and other creatures. Lakes and waterways are the primary sources of drinking water, which depend remarkably on water quality (refers to the physical, chemical, and furthermore life components of water). The goal of this internet of things-based water quality monitoring system is to determine the water's quality, specifically how the pH content changes, and to notify the appropriate authorities. This initiative will be put into action at drinking water reservoirs and municipal water tanks. To do that, we're utilising an Arduino board to determine the pH level.
