Automated Car Parking System

Geetha Ramani, Swapna S, Stephen J

Abstract

To detect a vacant parking slot in the bigger parking area is an issue for most of the drivers. During the recent four-decades, there are numerous models are created. But they are not solve the purpose. The benefits of the vehicle parking system are effective usage of spaces, available slots, appropriate directioning, allocation of spaces automatically, show the unfilled and filled parking spaces. This proposed framework is particularly intended for private parking spots and this framework is not appropriate for open parking spots. The parking spot will be observed by specialized AVM camera. Sensors are mounted in the street, to give accurate path to the vehicle in that area. When vehicle enters, driver gets data of the filled and unfilled spaces on large board. As the driver moves further, he will receive a message of allocated empty slot and route for that. Whenever all slots are filled, No spaces available message shows on the board.
