Abstract

ABSTRACT
In recent times, traffic accidents in India have increased; every day in India more than one major road accident occurs, and every hour 16 people die on the road due to road accidents. Helmets are the first level of accident prevention related to motorist road accidents. Current information on this topic is that, so far, a helmet has been made which is a used as a protective headgear by the bike rider to make motorcycle driving better and safer than before along with a vibration sensor for checking the bike’s fall, checking the rider is sober and the rider wears a helmet and also has a password-based system. The disadvantages of these helmets are, the rider has no idea of being sober or not; if the helmet is stolen, the bike will not start; it will not detect the bike’s fall. This hybrid helmet’s primary purpose is to ensure the safety of the bike rider. This is achieved with the help of impetus features such as detection of alcohol, detection of accidents, tracking of the location of rider, act as a hands-free device, solar-powered, detection of fall. It is mandatory to wear a helmet otherwise bike ignition will not ignite, i.e., Bike will not start. For communication purposes between transmitters and receivers, an RF module is used as a wireless link. If the driver gets drunk, the ignition switch will be activated immediately, and the current location will automatically send a message to their registration number. So when an accident happens, GSM will send a message to register numbers by GPS module with their current location. It can be used while driving to receive calls. The proposed distinctive value is the detection of falls; if the rider falls off the bike, it will immediately send out a message.
