Renewable Energy Revolution: Hybrid PV and Wind Power Generation

Abhay Ghildiyal, Shivam Sharma, Alok Tyagi

Abstract

Considering connectivity is not economically viable nor supported by the key players, accessing the rural population without electricity is currently not conceivable through grid extension. Furthermore, conventional energy options, such as fuel-based systems, are gradually being dropped from the agendas for rural development due to the rise in oil costs and the intolerable effects of this energy source on both consumers and the environment. The most effective method to provide "high quality" power has shown to be hybrid systems. Any nation's ability to grow economically and socially depends on its access to energy. In order to reduce reliance on imported fuels, it is necessary to maximise the development of domestic energy sources, subject to resolving economic, environmental, and social issues. To find ways to meet the energy demand and lessen reliance on fossil fuels, this resulted in a surge in research and development as well as investments in the renewable energy sector. Due to its abundance, accessibility, and simplicity in harnessing for the purpose of generating electricity, wind and solar energy are growing in popularity. This essay focuses on a wind and solar energy integrated hybrid renewable energy system.
