TRANSMISSION PARAMETERS OF TWO PORT CIRCUITS USING SPICE SIMULATION

Krishnapuram Kumar

Abstract

Models for linear two port analysis are given. The ABCD parameter determination using SPICE2/Pspice is carried out. While the first procedure and files are for the calculation of ABCD parameters where the circuit is purely resistive and dependent sources, the second is for general two port network using linear elements and small signal models of active devices. In the second method the frequency description of analog behavioral modeling options of Pspice are used. The models were verified for electronic circuits. In a similar procedure the inverse transmission parameters can also be calculated for a given network.
