Abstract

Multilevel inverter is a method of generating high voltage waveforms from lower voltage components with less distortion. It is used to solve the quality issues in power. This paper presents the study of different Level Shifted PWM techniques with a 7-level cascade H-Bridge Multilevel Inverter. For
analysis, Cascade H-Bridge is preferred over other conventional topologies named Diode Clamped & Flying Capacitor due to reduce switching components. Cascaded H-Bridge topology produces less distorted output load waveform compared to other conventional topologies. Performance of Multilevel Inverter is judge by harmonic distortion present in output. This paper simulated the result in MATLAB/Simulink 2013b
