An 8-Channel Quiz Buzzer System Is Implemented Using Arduino

Abstract


This paper aims to build and execute a low-cost and reliable quiz buzzer system using a programmable open-source microcontroller board and a few of the digit showing devices for easier identification of contenders or players during a school quiz or live television show. Quiz competitions have grown in popularity in recent years, and the buzzer round is an exoteric and convenient way to manage a tournament. Manually identifying the individual or team who really presses the buzzer is quite tough. To minimize confusion, the system will first show the number of the respective buzzer who pushes it. It will require a programmable open- source board circuit and a few digit showing devices for the indication of the number of participants that initially pressed the buzzer. Along with this addition sound-producing equipment is also used with will be ringing as any of the contenders presses the button. As a result, any troublesome situation may be promptly handled, and a genuine contender can be discovered.
