Designing and Simulation of Dual Band Antenna using CPW Feeding

Abstract


ABSTRACT
A dual-band antenna is proposed in this paper based on a coplanar waveguide feeding technique. This proposed antenna has 70 MHz and 426 MHz maximum bandwidth and they radiate at 1.5 and 2.56 GHz. Maximum return loss and average gain is -40 dBi and 3.0 dBi. A proposed monopole antenna is a combination of slotted rectangular and triangular-shaped structures. A 90-degree inclined T shaped stub was used to provide upper band. The substrate used was FR4 with a height of 1.6 mm, the antenna was designed and simulated in CST 2018.
