Home Automation System Via GSM

Abstract


This study looks into the possibilities for "Full Home Control," which is what future home automation systems hope to the intelligent, automated home system uses a PIC16F887 microcontroller with GSM integration to produce a 9600 bps baud rate. A maximum of four loads were used to implement and test the proposed prototype of the GSM-based home automation system, which exhibited an accuracy of 98%. In this initiative, we're creating a system for home automation that will allow users to manage their appliances using a basic GSM phone and SMS messages. No smart phone is required for this endeavour; any old GSM phone can be utilized to turn on and off any home electronics from anywhere. One of humanity's fundamental needs has existed since the beginning: home protection and control. But in order to guarantee broad coverage, remote control, dependability, and real-time operation, it must now be updated to reflect the quickly evolving technology. Home automation systems with wireless security and control technologies have appealing advantages and an intuitive user interface.
