IoT Based Inventory System

Vyom Chanpura

Abstract

In this paper, we introduce the inventory system that is based on the IoT (Internet of things) means you can monitor your data from anywhere in the world. This system is useful in many ways like in industry after manufacturing the data to measure the production per day, in the shops to monitor the food items like dal, pulses, etc., and in the restaurants for monitoring the food items. This system measures the data using a load cell (using 4 half-bridge load cells of 50 kg means each can measure only 50 kg) with a wooden slab on it for putting the object that wants to measure. This system uses the MQTT protocol to publish the data from the client to the server/broker and then to the subscribed client that displays the data on the dashboard. For the dashboard, we are using the Node-Red platform.
