Implementation of Smart Grid Using Cloud Computing

Shivam Bisht

Abstract

The quick-paced advancement of power systems requires shrewd grids to encourage continuous control and checking with bidirectional correspondence and electricity flows. Future brilliant grids are required to have dependable, proficient, anchored, and practical power management with the usage of conveyed architecture. For this, we need to center in three unique areas – energy management, information management, and security. In these territories, the utility of cloud computing applications is examined, while giving headings on future open doors for the advancement of the smart grid. It likewise features distinctive difficulties existing in the customary smart grid (without cloud application) that can be conquered utilizing cloud. In this paper, a brief overview of the present condition of research on smart grid development is introduced. An effort is also made to put forward the problems facing by current research in the areas of cloud-based energy management, managing of information, and security in smart grid, which are also identified.
