Amita Agnihotri, Pooja Pathak, Uma Randev, Inderjeet Kaur

Abstract

The enormous multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) technology in 5G networks is discussed in this study in order to increase network coverage and capacity. The paper will also go through the design of 5G networks and the problems they face. Multiple input and output technology along with smart antennas enabling the increased value of throughput and capacity gains in 5G regime of communication. The paper will cover channel estimation, capacity, and energy efficiency in massive MIMO in the last section. The current directions in MIMO systems, such as Terahertz communication and ultra-massive MIMO, will also be discussed in this paper.
