A Review of Microstrip Patch Antenna for 5G

Nitisha Sen, Praveen Patidar

Abstract

Requirements for mobile communication arise because of the rapid increase in mobile users. Mobile users need to have more features on their mobile phones, such as high date rates, efficient communication, reduced traffic, convenience of using different applications etc. Mobile providers need to address mobile consumer demands that can be achieved with the aid of 5G technology. 5G technology provides very high bandwidth, reduced latency, improved service quality, optimum capacity; wide range of available spectrums. 5G is managed with mm wave band so that we can have a significant amount of bandwidth with high frequency spectrum. This paper is focused on researching the correct antenna configuration for the use of mobile communication technology in 5G. Measurements of various antenna design parameters are also being studied to test if the microstrip patch antenna design is suitable for 5G mobile communication. Microstrip patch antennas have widespread attractiveness Low profile, light weight, compact scale, low cost features, And very basic, suitable for planer and non-planner design Fields. The benefit and effectiveness can be improved with the use of Antenna arrays, and the proposed antenna has a system of arrays. Microstrip antenna is important for supporting handheld wireless terminals Communication systems are lightweight and built into the module circuit because of its brightness. Since the microstrip antenna is small, compact and incorporated into the module circuit, the mobile wireless terminal must be assisted Communication systems. Recent developments lead to the development of an antenna that transmits and receives the wideband and high gain characteristics that can be worked in a high frequency range. Size reduction and bandwidth enhancement have thus become significant design problems for sensible microstrip antenna applications.
