Charger Using Electromagnetic Radiation (EMR)

sangeetha K, K Madhumathi

Abstract

All cell phones emit some amount of electromagnetic radiation (EMR). The radiation can even be converted into some amount of energy, which can be directly fed to the charger. This paper outlines the concept of converting EMR into power. So that it eliminates an external plug for charging. This is a convenient way of charging a mobile phone. For these purpose meta-surfaces, passive RFID tags can be used.
