Joy Kumar Saha, Sourav Sanyal

Abstract

Home automation is one of the important topics in today’s world due to the rapid advancements of wireless communications, sensors networks and VLSI technology. The Building Management System (BMS) is the automatic centralized control of a buildings’ heating, air conditioning, fans, security system, water supply system and other systems. This system is gaining popularity because of its tremendous advantages. Domestic mechanization framework could be a computerized and sagaciously organize of electronic contraptions sketched out to screen and control the residential devices. The main objective on this project is to create a safe and easy home automation system with low cost. Previously, some works have been done in this field but those are very expensive and not feasible for our country. To make the system more comfortable and easier five more sub systems are added. The features of our smart home include car parking, home security system, and emergency alarm service for fire and gas leakage, water monitoring system. Moreover different types of sensor are used for the betterment and security purpose of the user. As this is a prototype model assist improvement is required to include modern include in arrange to improve this frameworks effectiveness and fortify the security given by the system.
