Watermarking Algorithm for JPEG Compression and Extracted of Tampered Images Using 3-Level DWT SVD&FFT

Abstract


Digital watermarking (DW) is an idea of embedding authentication data. It uses an algorithm for inserting a watermark to protect the copyright of media. This paper proposed a digital image watermarking and tampering, in which a combination of 3level DWT (Discrete Wavelet Transform), SVD (Singular Value Decomposition), FFT (Fast Fourier Transform), DCT (Discrete Cosine Transform) is executed. Due to utilization of this method in our proposed artwork, it'll increase the robustness and imperceptibility of extracted picture. Experimental results have demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm, obtaining average PSNR value of 37 DB in the extracted image, even if the watermarked image was subjected to a JPEG compression using quality factor QF =75.
