Abstract

ABSTRACT Agriculture is the backbone of our country; 50-60 percentage of its economy depends on the agriculture. Growing agriculture products to the increasing population is necessary at a huge level using smartphone irrigation sensor. In this proposed model internet of things (IoT) is adopted forfocusing on reducing the wastage of water, protecting cropsfrom birds and animals, minimizing the manual labour on field for irrigation. Different methods are employed on transferring the parameter between controller, devices and internet. In this work, Wi-Fi communication method is applied for signal transfer. A prototype with advanced microcontroller has been developed for the proposed study. Results reveal the suitability of smart crop management system in agriculture.
