Abstract

In the research we focussed on Power quality with respect to single phase grid systems. The area if focus remains on voltage source inverters. To connect it to distribution grid and make it widely accessible to masses, it is converted to AC. As we know the power quality deals with issues such as voltage dips and swell, also the harmonic distortion are also being discussed in the research. A single-phase inverter controller based on Novel algorithmhas been used to discuss power quality issues. Simulation techniques are done with the help of Matlab and Simulink platforms in this research. As we know that time variant systems are difficult to control than time invariant ones. However the time variant systems can be simulated base on time invariant systems using suitably techniques. As such they are more suitable to used after the further transformation. We have proposed to design a single phase inverter controller using novel algorithm. The overall aim was to design an efficient and cost effective voltage source inverter. Hence the overall the research is based on obtaining a reliable and flexible single phase inverter using Novell controller techniques
