Abstract

The process of technology is never-ending. It is a great service to the community to be able to use modern technology to build a product that will improve the lives of others. This paper describes the design and execution of an Arduino-based train accident prevention system that is adaptable, secure, and low-cost. A stand-alone Arduino board serves as the basis for the design. This solution is meant to be scalable and inexpensive. Therefore, to provide continuous service and the highest level of reliability, the train industry must secure its security against accidents and suicides occurring on its property. The examination of the steps that have already been taken in other nations to address these occurrences is a crucial way to accomplish this goal. Since responses take into consideration certain cultural and social phenomena and depend on a nation's sociopolitical structure and the ensuing distribution of roles and duties, it is difficult to generalize from one country to another. This article outlines broad preventive measures aimed at reducing trespassing incidents and railway suicides. It does so by analyzing the measures' cost-efficiency, effectiveness in reducing accidents, and integration with the railway transport system overall. The level crossing, which serves as the intersection of two radically dissimilar types of transportation, is one specific example. Furthermore, most level-crossing incidents are caused by mistakes made by drivers.
