A Single Band Microstrip Dipole Antenna for PFDA Applications

Abstract

ABSTRACT This paper presents the simulation and experimental effects of a single band microstrip dipole antenna. The precise ness of this antenna design is because of its simple structure and feeding mechanism with low production cost. The antenna is designed at a substrate with εr = 4.4 and height h = 1.6mm for 1.504 GHz frequency bands. The resonance of antenna I -37dB achieve at the resonant frequency of 1.504GHz with a gain of 1.5 to 2.5dB to confirm the simulation result, the antenna is also fabricated and experimentally tested in the laboratory the simulate and measured result each other.
