Abstract

In todays world, we come across different news about crimes and intruders in different areas. If we can stop this action in the meantime, the loss will decrease. Detection of intruder in our area can alert the people and necessary actions can be taken in short time. In this paper, a survey on a security surveillance system by using face detection and recognition techniques is done. Many different technologies are being used in face detection like Local Binary Pattern Histogram algorithm which is used for Haar cascade classifier. The human face is one of the easiest characteristics which can be used in biometric security system
