Abstract

ABSTRACT In today’s world health hazards are a major concern. Especially group of old age people are the victims, and moreover the traffic conditions are worsening day by day, which results in traffic jams and traffic congestion. Traffic jams majorly affect the services such as ambulance services. Conventional systems have many limitations. We have come up with the Intelligent ambulance and automatic traffic control system as the solution of traffic problems. In this paper we worked on providing variable time slots as per traffic density and providing green corridor for emergency vehicles. We have used RFID cards and readers which improves traffic flow according to the requirement and also helpful in tracking vehicles. This paper studies vehicles consisting of IR sensors to detect and avoid accident, GSM and GPS modules for messaging and locating vehicle in case of any emergency. In nutshell, this paper tries to improve traffic management, vehicle theft identification and also minimize accidents. Keywords: Arduino, RFID, IR sensor, GSM, GPS.
