An Overview of Faults and Health Monitoring Estimation of Solar Photovoltaic Power Generation

Abstract

The demand of electricity has increased rapidly due to its need in daily as well as industrial applications. The conventional sources of energy are not suitable for environment because of its disadvantages like green house gas effect, pollution, scarcity of reversed sources etc. Therefore focus is on utilization of renewable energy sources. The solar power generation is one of an important method among other. The health monitoring is a considerable issue in the generation of solar power. Application of suitable methods can detect the health condition of a solar photovoltaic generation system. This paper focusses on the faults of solar photovoltaic system and methods to analyse them for safe and reliable operation.
