Abstract

The interfacing layers occurs between the electron transport layer (ETL) (TiO 2 ) and Absorber layer(CH 3 NH 3 PbI 3 ) and also Absorber layer (CH 3 NH 3 PbI 3 ) and hole transport layer (HTL) play important role in the efficacy of perovskite solar cells using SCAPS Tool. Using solar cells makes sense and may even be required in the future when new clean energy sources are developed. An unending source of inexpensive, readily available power that produces no greenhouse gases is known as renewable energy. Photovoltaic cells (also known as "photovoltaic (PV) cells) use light from the sun to create electrical current by converting photons. Over the past 20 years, a number of tangible opportunities have emerged, propelling ongoing scientific breakthroughs in photovoltaic technology that have lowered costs and raised solar cell efficiency. Quantitative simulation and modeling have been used to determine the electrical characteristics of the MAPbI 3 material used for the active layer for a number of parameters, including fill factor (FF), short-circuit current density (Jsc), power conversion rate (PCE), and open-circuit voltage (V oc ). Calculations have been made for the capacitance-frequency (C-F) and capacitance-voltage (C-V) of the previously studied perovskite solar cell. The simulated findings demonstrate that the MAPbI 3 has specifications for performance such as FF=89.58, PCE=32.98, Voc=1.2983, and Jsc=28.35 mAcm -2 . Copper thiocyanate (CuSCN) molecule plays a crucial role as a   hole transmitting Layer (HTL).
