Abstract

The state of power system and the methods of computing this state are very necessary in appraising the operation of the power system. The state of the power system is calculating the static performance by using the load flow analysis. These analyses involve the calculation of various load flows under normal and abnormal operating state. There are numerous methods to resolve the load flow of a specified system. These are Gauss–Seidel (GS), Newton–Raphson (NR) and fast decoupled load flow method. Keywords: fast decoupled load flow, Gauss–Seidel method, Newton–Raphson method
