A Brief Study on Wireless Power Transmission

Abstract

In this paper, the concept of wireless transmission, which means transmission of power without using solid wires or conductors, has been presented. We have discussed an idea about transmission of electrical energy without using cables or wires to reduce the allocation, transmission and different types of losses. All such techniques that are used to achieve this wireless power transmission have been discussed in this paper. We have also discussed the basic design, merits and demerits, history and future aspects, and applications of wireless power transmission.
