Abstract

Over the last few decades, there have been abundant changes in the industrial sector, particularly in design, manufacturing, prototyping, safety check, production process, etc. Collaborated efforts of IT and machine have led to increase in production and efficiency of the manufacturing process. Collaborated technologies have boosted the productivity not only in the industrial sector but also have been a stepping stone in commerce field such as retail, tourism, marketing, etc. This paper discusses about the need of using one of the collaborated technologies such as “virtual reality” in an organization. Hence, the virtual reality adds definite value to the end goals. This paper also emphasizes the need to study company’s operations to lessen required resources and maximize productivity in order to meet the standards and needs of customers. The need for improving communications, eliminating discrepancies, time-saving workflow systems is also studied. Keywords: Collaborated technologies, productivity, operations, virtual reality
