Abstract

In paper, an adaptable window function is recommended so that its spectral characteristics can be modulated and the structure of window can be regulated. In this paper, the spectral characteristics of intended window has been observed and then compared with hamming window, Gaussian window and Kaiser window. It has been observed that intended window obtains superior outcomes than hamming window, Kaiser window and Gaussian window. In an additional for application purpose, the intended window simulation result shows that the filter formed by using recommended window has been observed for better response than Kaiser window.

Keywords: Recommended window function, FIR low-pass filter, window shape and spectral parameters of window.
