COMPARISON OF FABRICATED WIDEBAND COMPACT BLC AND MINIATURIZED WPD USING PCB TEHNOLOGY

Abstract

In this paper comparison of fabricated Wilkinson Power Divider and Branch Line Coupler is proposed while one is three port passive device and another is four port passive device respectively. It shows the basic difference along fabricated divider and coupler which is very rarely mentioned in another papers. The proposed design is working along wide band i.e. 0-3 GHz and also single layer technique is discussed which is very effective for wide band point of view. The whole process is also described here for fabrication. The size of the WPD and BLC is 31mm×12mm×0.9mm (length ×breadth ×height) and 31mm×24mm×0.9mm (length ×breadth ×height) respectively. The practically comparison of return loss, insertion loss, coupling, directivity, coupling, isolation resulting parameters are discussed over here
