Wavelet Analysis for the Calculation of FFT Length Using Digital Signal Processing

Abstract

Introduction of the microprocessor in the late 1970's and early 1980's meant digital signal processing (DSP) techniques could be used in a much wider range of applications. DSP has been used to transform and manipulate analog and digital signals. This paper inculcates the parameters and calculation of fast fourier transform (FFT) length using Spectral and Wavelet Analysis by using Texas Instruments (TMS320C6713) DSP starter kit. DSP chip – a programmable gadget, with its own local guideline code planned particularly to meet numerically-serious prerequisites of DSP fit for doing a huge number of gliding point operations every second.
