Design of a Natural Water Cooler

Abstract

During summers, cool water and air are priceless. The major sufferer is the common man, especially those travelling and living in the rural areas. The earthen pots are ineffective beyond a certain temperature. The water coolers are expensive, require high maintenance and run on electricity whose supply is erratic. In this paper, a natural water cooler has been proposed which is very conventional and not too costly. The aim of this paper is to design a reduced cost, energy efficient, environment friendly water cooler. Keywords: water cooler, solar pump, earthen pots, water dipper
