Abstract

ABSTRACT

In today’s world the elections are not being held in ideal conditions because of enormous amount of money spent and muscle power needed for winning elections. This paper aims to build an Electronic voting system which will conduct unbiased voting in election and cannot be tampered and hindered. The proposed “Block-chain Based Transparent E-Voting System” is based on block-chain technology which consist of various process and concepts such as voter registration, validation of hash by third party, public address generation by third party in block-chain, casting votes against public address of voter. The main aim is to prevent tampering of votes with the help of immutable Block-chain that doesn’t allow any modification in existing data. The implementation of the system makes use of Multi-chain platform. Multi-chain platform has the ability to limit the number of transactions and hence will act as an added security check in the voting process.

Keywords: electronic voting system, immutability, decentralization, tamper-proof, confidentiality
