Abstract

ABSTRACT

The project uses Atmega328p based Arduino microcontroller board to read in the inputs from a pulse sensor. The pulse sensor module has its own firmware which detects the pulses when the user places his/her finger over the Pulse check area. The parameters from the Pulse Sensor Module are processed by the microcontroller and pulses are measure for a duration of at least one minute. The pulse unit is BPM and hence the output that is displayed over the LCD determines the Pulse per minute for any person. Buzzer is embedded in the circuit to notify whenever pulse is detected and give a sense that the system actually calculated the pulses for every beep.
