Radio Frequency based Fire Fighting and Grappling Robot

Rahul Sharma

Abstract

The part of automation industry to take care of genuine issues is expanding step by step. In some sort of crisis circumstances like fire control in a building, it is so troublesome for an individual to go inside the fire to smother it. Thus, in future angles there is a need to construct some exceptional robots/machines having better warmth safe properties under high temperature conditions. The robot ought to consequently distinguish the fire with the assistance of temperature sensors which are mounted on the robot's surface and to make fast move to quench the fire. Another most essential component is required in the firefighting robot ought to be associated with the control live with the assistance of remote association. This study speaks to the outline of a completely robotized firefighting robot and incorporates different modules, for example, temperature sensor LM35, microcontroller AT89C2051& AT89S52, 16*2 LCD and RF (Radio-Frequency) module at 433 MHz. A 12V dc engine is utilized to infer developments. At the point when fire in a specific zone gets identified by the robot then it naturally came to that zone with the assistance of wheels associated with the robot with the assistance of dc engine. Every one of the modules of the study venture, for example, RF transmitter and collector unit, temperature sensor with LCD interface and dc engine control unit are mounted on a solitary employ board. The schematic of PCB for each module is designed with the help of software. In this paper, all the stages to design a fire fighting robot are discussed.
