Abstract

ABSTRACT The dipole antenna or dipole aerial is one of the most important and usually used types of RF antenna. It is widely used on its own, and it is also incorporated into lots different RF antenna layout where it forms the driven element for the antenna. In this paper, strive has been made to analyse new single band hexagonal shape dipole antenna for LTE application. The simulate and experiment result single band hexagonal shape dipole antenna. The antenna design is due its simple structure and feeding mechanism with low manufacturing cost. The antenna is designed at a substrate with εr= 4.4 and substrate height h = 1.6 mm for 1.496 GHz frequency band. The resonance of antenna -48.5 db achieve at the resonant frequency 1.496 GHz with a gain of 1.70 to 2.33 db to confirm the simulation result; the antenna is also fabricated and experimentally tested in the laboratory the simulate and measured result each other.
