Face Recognition Using Principal Component Analysis and Principal of Correlation

Abstract


We have introduced facial recognition technique implemented in MATLAB using PCA and correlation coefficient. These techniques are designed on GUI platform and have taken image processing as a base. After running the designed GUI based on PCA algorithm the result window will show whether the two images uploaded matched or not on the basis of Eigen vectors computed whereas the GUI designed for correlation coefficient will show the name of the person whose photograph was uploaded along with whether the access granted or denied.
