Design of Microstrip Rectangular Antenna Array with Low Power RF to DC Generator for Energy Harvesting Application

Abstract


This paper corresponds to the design of 2x2 microstrip patch array with an efficient design of voltage doubler with matching circuit using 1N4148 diode for RF energy harvesting application. This design of Microstrip rectangular antenna array and single stage voltage doubler is used for scavenging of RF energy and convert it to suitable DC voltage. The simulated result shows that the designed antenna array is resonating over multiple frequencies of GSM band covering 900 MHz and 1900MHz and produces the output voltage of 0.445 V and at load we have used an LED.
