GESTURE Controlled Robot using ARDUINO PRO MINI , MATLAB , IP Webcam

Abstract


This system is designed to for the handicapped person to control things in industries so they can get a similar platform i.e. even better than normal person. The gesture control robot observes the gesture of the user and perform a task as per given instruction in Arduino board. A camera on robot captures the gesture and send it to the laptop where MATLAB image processing takes place and afterwards the processing MATLAB sends the command to the robot to perform a specific task as per defined by the user. Our project can give all the facilities to a disabled person so that they don’t feel themselves as a handicapped. In industries works are done by controllers which requires a regular person but our this project helps a disable person to do the work with same efficiency as a regular person can do.
