Abstract

We are now living in the 21st century. Today , smartphones have been the most significant element in our everyday life. Smart phones based on Android apps are becoming increasingly powerful and fitted with many accessories that are useful to robots. This project describes how to control a robot using mobile through Bluetooth communication, some features about Bluetooth technology, components of the mobile and robot. We provide a analysis of cell phone-controlled robotics by pushing the robot up , down , left and right via the android device such as Arduino, Bluetooth. Bluetooth has changed the way people use digital devices at home or in the office, transferring traditional digital wired devices to wireless devices. So Bluetooth connectivity is used for microcontroller interface, and android device. We use Arduino tools to connect microcontroller to the Bluetooth board. Robot motion can be controlled according to commands received from android. We extracted easy solutions to provide a basis for the development of very low cost robots along with strong computing and sensing capabilities provided by mobile devices like phone.
