Antenna for S-Band Application Utilizing Flexible Material

Anurag Saxena, Vinod Kumar Singh

Abstract

ABSTRACT
In this article, antenna for S-band application has been simulated for the frequency range of 3.5 to 8.5 GHz. CST software is utilized to design the anticipated antenna with materials which have a dielectric constant of 1.7. The return loss of bending antenna is -20 dB at 5.89 GHz resonant frequency. It covers the bandwidth from 3.87 GHz to 8.07 GHz which is approximately 70%. In this proposed antenna, the ground with circular shape is used. Simulated results like return loss versus frequency graph, 3D pattern and polar plot are displayed.
