The main aspects associated with technology in use today are automation, electricity usage, and cost effectiveness. Automation uses clever systems to reduce the need for human labour. Since the supply of electricity is dwindling for a variety of reasons, power conservation is always a top priority. We are employing IoT devices to combat these effects because, as we are all aware, energy usage has been rising daily. In this project, a methodology for adjusting street light illumination using sensors while using the least amount of electrical energy is proposed. All nearby street lights turn on in their brightest mode when presence is detected; otherwise, they remain in their dim state. The use of LED lights is required because they outperform traditional incandescent lamps in every way. As a result, there will be a decrease in carbon dioxide emissions, power usage, maintenance and replacement expenses, and heat emissions. When used together, the SSSLS (Solar Smart Street Light System) is anticipated to save a sizable quantity of electricity. The internet of things has also been used to create a demonstration with a real-time prototyping model that includes costs and implementation procedures in order to visualise the real-time updates of street processing and notify the changes happening.
Akansha Mishra

Electrical power generation is increasing rapidly worldwide due to population increases. Hence, the requirement of automated and advanced system for generation of electricity evolves that eventually lead to the development of the nation in a sustainable manner. Macro energy harvesting technology refers to renewable energy systems that produce kW or MW levels of power. Furthermore, micro energy can be produced by a process known as micro energy harvesting from those natural sources. Micro energy harvesting technique is based on mechanical vibration, mechanical stress and strain, thermal energy from friction, furnaces, and heaters, sunlight or artificial light, human body, chemical, or biological sources, and other sources that can produce mW or W level power. The requirement for micro power supplies is growing rapidly as our technology advances to the microfabrication and nanofabrication levels. This paper reflects a thought that the kinetic energy produced by a moving Vehicle in speed breaker can be utilized and create control by employing a uncommon arrangement called “power hump”. Power produce in this study is utilized for various functions. Within the current situation request of control is expanding day by day with expanding populace. On the other hand vitality emergency is additionally a main issue of today’s life and all there's a deficiency of customary energy resources due to its expansive utilization.
Nikhil BaranwalAjay Kumar RajwanshiVatsal SinghJay Bahadur Singh

The adoption of home automation systems has grown significantly over the past few decades, and they improve comfort and quality of life. An overview of existing and developing home automation systems is covered in this study. These days, smartphones and microcontrollers are the main components of home automation systems. Using a variety of connection methods, a smart phone application is utilised to monitor and operate the home appliances. This study compares the features of various wireless communication technologies, including ZigBee, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, En Ocean, and GSM, in order to let customers decide which technology they want to use to design their own home automation system. Additionally, this research work discusses a survey of several automation systems for homes.
Abhishek YadavSuryakant YadavAnil VermaAshutosh Kumar AnshuArun Kumar Yadav

A Systems using energy from renewable sources supply power to places where extending the grid is either impractical or excessively expensive. An integrated renewable energy system is an additional environmentally responsible option for rural electrification. Comparing a non-renewable power source with a renewable energy system is the main objective of this essay. The proposed system incorporates a hybrid solar and wind electricity system into the currently installed diesel-fueled generator and battery backup system to provide the same workload as the present system, which is fueled by a diesel engine and batteries. The proposed system's cost is also optimized in this paper, as is the optimal cost analysis of HRES. Making Sustainable Energy using a Hybrid Optimization Approach An energy modelling programme called HOMER is used to build and analyse hybrid power systems, which blend traditional and alternative forms of energy. It could be done to use generators, windmills, solar photovoltaics, fuel cells, rechargeable batteries, hydroelectric power, hydro, the biomass, along with additional inputs. Tens of thousands of individuals use it right now all across the world. The findings show that the proposed hybrid renewable energy system is less expensive than the non-renewable system. The proposed system significantly reduces the running time of the diesel generator, which aids in the reduction of emissions. A review of the most recent studies using HOMER for the best HRES planning is provided in this publication.
Arjun ChaudharyArun Kumar YadavShashank Mishra

The goal of this project is to develop and execute continual improvement in embedded systems for energy savings in street lights. The street lights are at present manually turned on during the middle of the night just before sunset and off in the morning once it is sufficiently light outdoors. However, when it is completely dark, some of the aforementioned lights actually start to come on. The power will be wasted to some extent as a result of that one. This project provides a solution to electrical power waste. The lighting system's operation is also completely eliminated. The proposed system offers an energy-saving solution. This is accomplished by sensing and approaching a vehicle with an infrared transmitter and receiver pair. When the sensor detects movement, it sends data to the microcontroller, which causes the light to turn on. Similar to this, the light switches off as soon as the car or obstruction passes away. You can also check the status of the street light (ON/OFF) online at any time and from anywhere. In this project, the street lights are controlled by a clever embedded system based on the identification of vehicles or other roadside obstructions. The light will switch on/off automatically depending on the detection even if an impediment is found on the street during the allotted period, and the same information can be obtained over the internet. The street light's real-time status (ON/OFF) can be accessed via the internet at any time and from any location
Kanchan KushwahaManu GautamAkhilesh MishraAman TiwariSrikrishna AgnihotriDPS Chauhan
