Closed Loop Operation of a DC-DC Interleaved Boost Converter
Abstract
This study is focussed on the high gain dc-dc converter with simple closed loop control scheme. Conventional boost converter cannot be used for high voltage applications, as it results in reduced gain, efficiency and increased cost. But with the application of voltage multiplier based on modified Dickson charge pump overcomes these limitations. Further, the control strategy is adapted based on proportional-integral (PI) to regulate the output performances. Finally, simulation results are presented.
